APB – Summer 2015

From The Booking Desk:

This is the debut of a new feature here at BOLO Books. The APB (All Points Bulletin). I anticipate having this feature run each season (four times a year) and hope that it will work in conjunction with the weekly BOLO (Be On the Look Out) posts. Both are intended to highlight books that I am excited about in advance of their release date. In the case of the APB, the format will simply be a gallery featuring the covers and the official release date of the book. When we get closer to that release date, the BOLO post will give you more detailed information on each title.

  1. Thanks for including my forthcoming book. I am honoured (with the British/Canadian extra “U”) to be in such good company. A bit scared, but, honoured! 🙂

    • My pleasure Cathy. I have a feeling that lots of folks are going to be in love with the ladies of the WISE Agency by the end of the summer.

  2. Jesus H, I almost got the math wrong. In any event, this is a great selection of books, Kristopher! I’m also looking forward to many of these titles. I’ve read Truth and Other Lies and it was a thinker! I love Belinda Bauer so can’t wait for that one. Also high anticipation for Mary Kubica’s next in line, I really loved Good Girl. I’ve also heard good things about Pretty Is, but a few of these are new to me and I’m going to have to look ’em up! Thanks for pointing them out, I looking forward to hearing about those you enjoy.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Lauren. It’s going to be a good summer of reading. Most of these books, I have already read, loved, and look forward to highlighting as the season progresses. Kubica’s Good Girl was excellent, so I too have high hopes for Pretty Baby (one on the list that I haven’t yet gotten to read).

  3. I’ll be checking some of these books out, Kristopher, because if you recommend them, I know they’re worth looking at. I’m getting ready to put up a summer list, too. I like that we have some different books, except for Cathy’s and Louise’s books. It’s going to be a great summer for reading!

    • There is no shortage of books out there, so it is nice that many of my blogger friends highlight different titles. We all have different tastes, as do our followers. This is why I encourage folks to follow a few different bloggers, so they don’t miss out on anything that they might love.

  4. BOLO Books – always forward thinking in ways to bring readers to quality story telling! Innovativeness and positive thinking such as Kristopher’s truly makes his website a pleasurable, rewarding experience! Once you have personally experienced the inventiveness of his “book advocacy” share it with fellow readers – I sincerely believe the world will become a better place because of it.

  5. Great list, Kristopher!!! I’m excited to see that I already have a few of them – The Truth and Other Lies, Pretty Baby and Woman With a Secret – so I must be on the right track 😉 I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for the others, as I’m sure if you are recommending them, they must be good!
