From the Booking Desk:

I can’t think of a more appropriate person to highlight with a Composite Sketch during Edgars Week 2018. I first became acquainted with Jon through my volunteering when he was the chair of Bouchercon (he’s been involved in so many, I can’t really say which this was, but I think it was St. Louis). The Bouchercons he (and Ruth) have been involved in have been some of my favorite of all time. Jon was always very supportive and when he asked to syndicate some of my blog reviews in Crimespree Magazine, I was beyond honored. Now I am blessed to call him friend and look forward to seeing him at each Bouchercon. Enough chit-chat, let’s get to the questions.

Name: Jon Jordan
Location: Milwaukee

This person from my personal life is such an inspiration:

I’d have to say my parents, and the older I get the more I see it. My Mom taught me to love books and reading, my Dad taught me to work for what I want and to always keep learning things.

One of the people I admire most in the crime fiction community is:

Just one??

Erin Mitchell. I love Erin for a lot of reasons but foremost is her ability to have mountains of shit drop on her and then just smile and say “Hand me that shovel would you?”

STALKER ALERT! If this fictional character were real, they would likely need to get a restraining order against me:

Nathan Heller, that man was involved in some really cool cases.

People are always surprised that I am a fan of this individual (singer, actor, or artist):

ABBA

My personal catch phrase is (or should be):

Life is too short to read bad books.
