From the Booking Desk:

It is Edgar Awards Week!  This means things will be a bit quieter than normal around here, but rest assured I will be posting some previously prepared content – including a special Composite Sketch on Friday – as the week goes on.  And I’ll be back to normal next week – no doubt with many stories to tell.

In the meantime, check Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for photos of my experience. Below is my schedule:

TUESDAY NIGHT:

I will be at The Mysterious Bookshop in NYC for their celebration of the Edgar Award nominees. This is open to the public and will be a great time get copies of this year’s celebrated books signed by the authors.

WEDNESDAY:

This is the day for the Edgar Week Symposium. A full day packed with wonderful panels and interviews highlighting this year’s nominees. Not only will some of your favorite – and new favorite – authors be on the stage, there are sure to be many author sightings amongst the audience as well. Be sure to say hello if you see me wondering around.  😉

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

A brief respite from the bookish activities as I head out to see Carousel on Broadway.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON:

As one of their newest columnists, I will be at the Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine cocktail party to meet and greet the team behind that wonderful publication (as well as the sister magazine, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine).

THURSDAY NIGHT:

The Edgar Awards Banquet. Roll out the red carpet, this is the big moment. I will be accepting a 2018 Raven Award at during these festivities – and I am still a bit in shock. I hope to be coherent and brief with my speech.

FRIDAY – SUNDAY:

Malice Domestic in Bethesda, Maryland. I will be at this fan-based crime convention just as soon as possibly and hope to participate in as many of the activities as possible. Certainly, I will be at the Agatha Awards Banquet and I am moderating a panel on Darkness in Mysteries on Sunday morning.

From the Booking Desk:

I am exhausted just reading all of that, but things will then get back to normal until the huge local Raven Award celebration Party which happens the following Saturday. No doubt that will be another much photographed event.

While I have you all here, let me once again THANK YOU for being a part of this journey with me. It means the world to me. READ ON!!!
