From the Booking Desk:

The crime fiction short story could not ask for a better ambassador than Art Taylor. This is a writer who has won multiple awards – including the Edgar, Anthony, Agatha, Macavity, and Derringer – and who still gives back to his community in so many ways, both big and small. Art will go out of his way to make sure that his fellow short story writers get the attention and praise they deserve. BOLO Books has certainly reaped the benefits of my association with Art Taylor. Art has opened up more opportunities for me than I could even begin to tabulate and that will never go unrecognized. When Art and Jeffrey Marks (from Crippen & Landru Publishers) approached me to ask if I would host the cover reveal for this talented author’s new story collection, there was simply no answer other than “heck, yeah!” Honestly, even if I had never met Art Taylor, I would have gladly hosted this reveal because I know that his stories can always be counted on to take readers through an emotional journey with skill and panache. In fact, I have already consumed this new collection and I can say that experiencing the works from across the breadth of Art Taylor’s career allows readers to witness his evolution, pinpoint trademark styles and themes, and generally bask in the glow of this master of his craft. There will be a full review closer to publication, but for now, let’s take a look at the book’s cover featuring stunning original artwork from Luke Buchanan.
