From the Booking Desk:

As you are reading this, I am likely already in my seat at the Javits Center in NYC.  Today, I will be attending the BEA Book Blogger Convention held in conjunction with BookExpo America.

Will Schwalbe (author of The End of Your Life Book Club) will be giving the keynote speech at 9:15.

After this, I will following the track for non-YA book bloggers as outlined here: SESSIONS

Since BOLOBooks also covers YA mysteries/thrillers, I may take some time to pop in on one of the YA panels as well.

The Ethics Forum luncheon should be full of interesting insights for all bloggers to be aware of.

The afternoon sessions are further broken down and I will likely attend the Blogging Platform and “Big” Niche panels, though this is always subject to change.

Randi Zuckerberg will give the ending keynote.

Finally, the networking Happy Hour will be a great time to meet with fellow bloggers and finally put a face to the name of those blogs we all follow.

All in all, it should be a good day filled with valuable information as hundreds of book bloggers gather together to discuss books and our industry.

Scheduling Update:  I will try to do a summary post on the event for other bloggers who are unable to attend shortly after returning home.  Stay tuned!
