If you follow me on social media, you have no doubt heard about my new initiative, We Are What We Read, so I am excited to tell you that the inaugural episode is available now.

Over the next 12 months, 8 members of our crime fiction family (new folks each month) will discuss books they found influential, overlooked, or in need of promotion for some other reason they deem appropriate. The restrictions were minimal, as I wanted to ensure we received a wide variety of selections.

On this first episode, the guests are: Edwin Hill, Catriona McPherson, Wanda Morris, Alan Orloff, Tonya-Spratt-Williams, Gabriel Valjan, Shawn Reilly Simmons, and myself. And I have to tell you, your TBR pile is about to grow.

Here is a direct link to the YouTube presentation
(be gentle with us, this was the first episode and the nerves did kick in.)

And after watching the presentation, you can find a Bookshop.org storefront linking to all the chosen books in case you want to order them and support Independent bookstores around the country.

The WE ARE WHAT WE READ Bookshop
(unlike most posts here on BOLO Books, this is an affiliate link, meaning some small commission will come my way if you click through & order. But I’m just as happy if you go to your local Indie bookstore or library)

I hope that you enjoy the episode and will just us next much when we have 8 new members of the crime fiction family joining us.

Until then: READ OFTEN, READ WIDELY
