From the Booking Desk:
Many of you know that after years of writing exclusively short stories, Josh Pachter released his debut novel–Dutch Threat–in 2023. That book would go on to be a finalist in the Best Debut Novel category for the Agatha, Lefty, and Macavity Awards. Never one to rest on his laurels, Josh Pachter will be releasing his first children’s book later this year. I am thrilled to host the cover reveal for that book here today on BOLO Books. It will be called First Week Free at the Roomy Toilet and you will just have to read on to see why.

When things begin mysteriously disappearing from the other residents’ rooms, newcomer June is the obvious suspect, and to prove her innocence she takes on the most important role of her career and plays sleuth. Each of the Roomy Toilet’s wacky tenants has secrets to conceal, and the book builds to a conclusion packed with multiple surprises and happy endings for everyone—well, almost everyone….
