From the Booking Desk:
In case you have not heard, the panel schedule for Bouchercon 2016 in New Orleans has now been posted. And it is a sight to behold. There is something for everyone on this list of panels.
As is my custom here on the blog, I wanted to take a moment to let you know which panels I am most excited about. I hope that if you are attending the event, you will take some time to explore the full schedule and map out your plans for the conference.
And I hope that if our paths cross at any point, you will introduce yourselves and say hi! I look forward to seeing you all in NOLA.
Wednesday, September 14th
The day before the actual conference starts, Heather Graham is providing a New Orleans 101 panel, in which highlights of the city will be mentioned so that conference-goers don’t miss any of the excitement this fine city has to offer.
Later that evening from 6:00-7:00, I will be hosting a wine/lemoncello event to thank all the authors and fans who has supported BOLO Books during its early years. This will be held at the rented complex where we are staying for the week prior to Bouchercon.

From the Booking Desk:
Now, these are the choices for panels I know I will be sitting in on. That decision was made based on a combination of Topic, Panelists, and Moderator, as well as making hard choices when there were conflicts. It is likely I will attend a few more panels depending on my mood, but those will be spur of the moment decisions. This also does not mention any of the special events, evening events, etc. Those will be highlighted in separate post at a later time.
Good choices (and thanks for choosing mine)! I’ll be attending a few of these as well. The only thing bad about the schedule is how many great panels there are and the potential conflict it creates. 🙂
Always conflicts, Holly. But that is a wonderful problem to have. Plus, they always record the panels, so we can hear the ones that we have to miss.
Looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans, Kristopher!
Same here, Art. It will be here before we know it.
Excellent; thanks for choosing our panel, Kristopher! Looking forward to seeing you again (and comparing those tough schedule decisions)!
It looks to be a great panel, so I wouldn’t miss it. Great topic, strong panelists and moderator. How can you go wrong?
As usual, it seems either feast or famine on the B’con schedule. There are always good panels to choose, at any given time….but sometimes there are none that call to me especially, and then there will be THREE that say yoohoo in the strongest way possible. Then the choice is really difficult. Darn it. But that can be called…an embarrassment of riches.
See you there, Kristopher! Cannot wait!!!
(This year’s organizers are doing a superb job and communicating about it very well. Very pleased so far.)
This year, more than any other, I have conflicting panels that I want to attend. It’s a good “problem” to have, but I do hate that I will have to make choices.
