From the Booking Desk:
Most followers of BOLO Books know that I am a proud member of the Chesapeake Chapter of Sisters in Crime. I try to do whatever I can for my fellow members by helping to spread the word on their books, events, and accolades. So when Barb Goffman reached out to ask me to host the cover reveal for the chapter’s newest short story anthology, I was immediately on board. I look forward to reading the stories in this collection – fully expecting that they will all be wonderful and that many will contenders for short crime fiction awards in the coming year. Let’s take a look at the cover and the contributors list.
This is the ninth volume coming from members of the Chesapeake Chapter of Sisters in Crime. It will be published by Wildside Press. All the stories involve an invitation of some sort. Some are formal–engraved and sent in the mail. Others are verbal: join me for dinner, come to a party, or travel with me to an exotic location. They all involve nefarious goings-on. So we invite you to join the fun and pick up a copy.
Includes new short stories from:
- Karen Cantwell
- KM Rockwood
- Leone Ciporin
- Adam Meyer
- Cathy Wiley
